Cancer Immunotherapy: 2022 Research and a Look Ahead with E. John Wherry, PhD 

In this informative CRI webinar, prolific cancer immunotherapy expert E. John Wherry, PhD, discusses promising new research and treatments in the year ahead. Dr. Wherry breaks down recently developed treatment strategies in patient care, what biomarkers are and how they can inform a treatment plan, and the latest discoveries in cellular immunotherapy for solid tumors. Dr. Wherry is the director of the Institute for Immunology, the chair of the Department of Systems Pharmacology and Translational Therapeutics, and the Richard and Barbara Schiffrin President’s Distinguished Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Additionally, he is an associate director of CRI’s Scientific Advisory Council. Researchers have cited his work almost 50,000 times in peer-reviewed publications and he has authored more than 200 papers.
