The 2026 Oliver R. Grace Award was presented to Reed Jobs for his leadership in advancing cancer research through philanthropy and investment. As the founder of Yosemite, he combines charitable funding with venture capital to support promising discoveries at their earliest stages. His approach helps scientists move bold ideas from university laboratories toward clinical development, with the goal of creating better treatments for people with cancer.

2025 Award Recipients

Jane and Dick Landesman, MD

The 2025 Oliver R. Grace Award was presented to Jane and Dick Landesman, MD, for their longstanding commitment to advancing cancer immunotherapy research. Through the Sailfish Community Move for Life fundraiser, they brought together family, friends, and neighbors in memory of their son, Keith Landesman, MD. By 2025, their efforts had raised more than $2.5 million and supported nine CRI fellows, helping the next generation of scientists pursue new approaches to cancer treatment.

2024 Award Recipient

Jill O’Donnell-Tormey, PhD

The 2024 Oliver R. Grace Award was presented to Dr. Jill O’Donnell-Tormey for her leadership and dedication to advancing cancer immunotherapy. As CRI’s CEO from 1993 to 2024, she oversaw more than $500 million in research funding and helped establish innovative grant programs. Her commitment to supporting bold science strengthened CRI’s role in advancing discoveries that helped lay the foundation for today’s cancer immunotherapies.
