Illinois-based Omar Ghaffar loves golf and is also passionate about raising awareness and supporting CRI’s mission. In the past few years, Omar has seen family and friends affected by cancer, so he decided the only way to make a difference is to take on a record-breaking challenge. This June, Omar will attempt to beat the current official world record for the most indoor golf holes played in 24 hours, which stands at 666 holes. His goal is to complete 700 holes and raise $25,000 for CRI.

In his own words, Omar understands that cures can only come through research, and research can only happen with funding.
