We all know someone who has been affected by cancer or it has affected us directly. Over ten years ago, I lost a very good friend to a rare form of cancer, who tragically never even reached the age of 25 years old. This loss hit me extremely hard. Then this year, on April 15th, my mother-in-law passed away. She had liver cancer that had spread to her lungs and kidney, as well as complications from a bad heart and dialysis. We'll be doing the livestream in honor of Jake and in honor of Prudence.
We've amassed a wonderful audience and group of peers, and with their help, I want the Epic Film Guys podcast to raise as much money as we possibly can to help combat this terrible disease. On Saturday, May 20th, we will take to the mic for a twelve-hour livestream for the cure, where we'll be raising money for the Cancer Research Institute! We hope to bring in a huge amount of money for this amazing charity, and they make sure 87 cents out of every dollar goes to finding a cure. If you can't turn out and catch us on the livestream, you can still donate!
