CRI responded with an ongoing commitment to filling these gaps, funding 50 percent more fellows this year than originally anticipated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPostdocs are the invisible engine of biomedical discovery,\u201d said Miriam Merad, MD, PhD, of CRI\u2019s Scientific Advisory Council. \u201cAt a time when federal support is faltering, CRI is once again stepping up \u2013 just as it did decades ago when cancer immunology had few champions. Supporting these young scientists is not just an act of resilience; it\u2019s a commitment to the future of science and the patients who depend on it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each CRI Fellowship provides $243,000 over three years and supports high-impact research at leading academic institutions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The Winter 2025
