El Cancer Research Institute (CRI), organizaci\u00f3n estadounidense sin fines de lucro consagrada a salvar vidas a trav\u00e9s del descubrimiento y desarrollo de inmunoterapias eficaces para todos los tipos de c\u00e1ncer, anunci\u00f3 hoy que ha otorgado tres becas a j\u00f3venes cient\u00edficos afrodescendientes, hispanos y latinos como parte de su nueva iniciativa de equidad en la salud dise\u00f1ada para promover la diversidad racial y \u00e9tnica, y la inclusi\u00f3n en la investigaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica en los campos de la inmunolog\u00eda y la inmunolog\u00eda tumoral.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La beca Irvington de posdoctorado del CRI para promover la diversidad racial, lanzada este a\u00f1o, busca eliminar las barreras al avance profesional acad\u00e9mico de los cient\u00edficos afrodescendientes, hispanos y latinos ofreciendo a los becarios 175&nbsp;500 d\u00f3lares durante tres a\u00f1os para apoyar su investigaci\u00f3n y capacitaci\u00f3n profesional, bajo la mentor\u00eda de los principales inmun\u00f3logos e inmun\u00f3logos tumorales del mundo en las principales instituciones de investigaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica. Allison, Ph. D., Director del Consejo Asesor Cient\u00edfico del CRI y premio Nobel de 2018, quien tambi\u00e9n forma parte del Comit\u00e9 de revisi\u00f3n de becas de posdoctorado del CRI.
