Race entry is not guaranteed until you have completed our registration form and have been assigned a slot through Team CRI\u2019s NYRR account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your support will help raise critical funds for highly promising cancer immunotherapy research all around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the race on social media with #TCSNYCMarathon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHY TEAM CRI?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cancer Research Institute (CRI) is the world&#8217;s leading nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to harnessing the immune system&#8217;s power to prevent, control, and eventually cure all cancers. Because of the pioneering research we have funded for over 70 years, cancer immunotherapy today is no longer a dream held by a determined few. The expert-vetted clinical and laboratory research we support has the best chance of leading of helping to create a future immune to cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Benefits of running with Team CRI include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guaranteed race entry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personal online fundraising page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to fundraising tips and support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CRI-branded team gear<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FUNDRAISING<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Team CRI runners must commit to fundraising a minimum of $3,000, due in full by Sunday, November 5, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the fundraising pledge, Team CRI runners are responsible for a $245 sign-up fee paid directly to NYRR and due at the time of registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What if I don\u2019t reach my fundraising minimum?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do not reach your fundraising minimum by the deadline, CRI will charge the balance to the credit card indicated on your registration form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What if I cannot participate after I register?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every team member who officially registers and obtains an entry through Team CRI is committed to reaching their fundraising minimum by the deadline regardless of any situations that may arise. These entries are vital fundraising opportunities for the Cancer Research Institute, which is why we ask everyone to commit to their fundraising goal when we assign the race entry to their
