Join Jane and Dick Landesman<\/strong> for a community-building fundraiser to benefit the Cancer Research Institute. Come together with the Sailfish Point Community and help create a World Immune to Cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you bike, run, walk, swim, or ride your golf cart during the day or stick around for some evening fun, 100% of the funds raised will go directly to the Cancer Research Institute to support cancer immunotherapy research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

The History Behind the Fundraiser <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2008, Dr. Keith A. Landesman<\/a>, a beloved son, father, and husband lost his life to cancer. Each year his parents Jane and Dick, along with their family and friends, honor his life and legacy by raising funds to support Cancer Research Institute postdoctoral fellows whose groundbreaking research expands our knowledge of cancer and its relationship to the immune system. Since 2013, the Cancer Research Institute Landesman Fundraiser has raised more than $1.3 million. These funds have supported young scientists working to find immunotherapies for breast, colon, lung, and ovarian cancers, glioblastoma, leukemia, and lymphoma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always, you can be a part of this special cause and make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer by registering today or giving to the Landesman Fundraiser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
