{"id":11391,"date":"2022-07-01T20:35:49","date_gmt":"2022-07-02T00:35:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cancerresearch.org\/event\/wear-white-play-golf-and-support-cancer-research\/"},"modified":"2022-07-14T15:17:57","modified_gmt":"2022-07-14T19:17:57","slug":"inaugural-wear-white-golf-cancer-research","status":"publish","type":"cri_events","link":"https:\/\/www.cancerresearch.org\/es\/events\/inaugural-wear-white-golf-cancer-research","title":{"rendered":"Wear White, Play Golf, and Support Cancer Research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Transcendent Planning&nbsp;presents the Inaugural &ldquo;Wear White, Play Golf &amp; Support Cancer Research&rdquo; event in California, on Saturday, June 23, 2018.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This event will benefit the Cancer Research Institute (CRI), a nonprofit dedicated to funding breakthrough science for a future immune to cancer.&nbsp;Guests are encouraged to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancerresearch.org\/cancer-immunotherapy-month\/wear-white-day\">wear white<\/a> in support of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancerresearch.org\/cancer-immunotherapy-month\">Cancer Immunotherapy Month<\/a>. $25 of every ticket sold to Saturday&#39;s golf event, and&nbsp;50 percent of all event net proceeds will be donated to the CRI directly from Transcendent Planning. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancerresearch.org\/fundraise\">Guests may also make a direct donation on the event fundraising page.<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Oak Creek Golf Club&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration and Pre-Event Activities: 7:00am &#8211; 8:30am<\/li>\n<li>Shot-gun start: 8:30am &#8211; 2:30pm<\/li>\n<li>Awards, Prizes, Networking, and Drinks: 2:30pm &#8211; 4:00pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Spots are being sold individually and all golfers will be randomly placed in to foursomes.
