Merck & Co. has provided multi-year support for Cancer Research Institute patient education programming during Cancer Immunotherapy Month, including sponsorship of the 2017 Fact of the Day social media campaign. Merck has also supported the CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship Program and provided multi-year support for the Immunotherapy Patient Summit series, including the inaugural Patient Summit. Additionally, Merck has selected CRI as a charity beneficiary of the Your Cancer Game Plan Challenge.
In 2015, Merck’s pioneering leadership in the field of cancer immunotherapy was recognized with the Cancer Research Institute Oliver R. Grace Award, presented to Merck chairman and chief executive officer Kenneth C. Frazier at the Cancer Research Institute Annual Awards Dinner.
