In 2016, Cindy Stowell realized her lifelong dream of competing on Jeopardy! and won six games while battling stage 4 colon cancer. She died only one week before her episodes aired that December and donated her winnings to the Cancer Research Institute to fund research into developing lifesaving immunotherapies for patients with colorectal cancer. This week's Tournament of Champions remembers Cindy Stowell, who would have qualified to participate. All donations made in her memory will go to colorectal cancer research.
