Prior to joining CRI's board, Lauren Veronis was a member of the Board of Directors of the Irvington Institute for Immunological Research from 1978-2007, serving as its president from 1983-1990 and as its chairman from 1990-2000.

Mrs. Veronis joined the Board of Directors of the American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic in 2000. Her past affiliations include the Boards of Directors of the Foundation for Children with Learning Disabilities and as an associate member of the Board of Trustees at New York University Medical Center.

Mrs. Veronis was born and raised in New York City where she currently resides with her husband, John J. Veronis, former chairman and founder of Veronis Suhler Stevenson.

She joined the CRI board in October 2007.
