New York, NY
Born and raised in Lorain, Ohio, Sean Kiely found his way to New York City on a whim. After graduating from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, Sean came to visit a friend for a short post-grad vacation. As fate would have it, he never got on the plane home – an internship turned into a job offer, which then turned into permanent life in the city. In all honesty, though, it was his dream come true. Since starting his life in the Big Apple, Sean has gained plenty of work experience in various industries including fashion, television and media production, and public relations. The Cancer Research Institute is very important to Sean, and he is honored to be a part of their Young Philanthropists Council. Cancer has caused the death of many of Sean’s family members, and his dedicated time and efforts are the least he feels he can do to help eradicate this disease.
