Samantha Knapik grew up in Boca Raton, Florida, and currently resides in New York, New York. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in business. While earning her degree, Samantha played for the nationally ranked Women’s Soccer Club and also had the opportunity to spend a semester studying in London, England. She had also worked as both a counselor and senior division head at Camp Highlander in Asheville, North Carolina. Currently, she is employed by On Deck Capital.

In addition to working with the Cancer Research Institute, Samantha is actively involved in many other organizations throughout the city. She is currently a vice president of the University of Colorado Alumni Association in New York, a volunteer with Project Sunshine, and has also worked with the Ronald McDonald House of New York as a volunteer.
