Melissa Phillips is the events specialist for White & Case LLP, a global law firm in New York. She works with attorneys and clients on planning and executing client-focused events such as sponsorships, cocktail and dinner receptions, and seminars and outings for the firm. Melissa is very active in LEPG, the Legal Event Planners Group in NY that works with local vendors and venues that support the NY legal community and she is also a volunteer member with New York Cares and Free Arts NYC. Melissa is a graduate of Lehigh University where she received a bachelor of arts in journalism/public relations and minored in economics. She is from Montclair, NJ, and now resides in Hoboken, NJ. Melissa joined the CRI Young Philanthropists Council in 2008 and values the opportunity of working and coordinating efforts with a group of talented young professionals on the Council that are helping to raise funding and awareness for cancer research with the Cancer Research Institute.
