Josephine Vella is currently employed at the United States Attorney’s Office focusing on residential mortgage-backed securities investigations and litigation. Her previous experience include working at a law firm, at an investment bank, and other State and Federal government agencies focusing on complex financial cases.
Josephine earned her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, where she studied political science and international relations. She was a gold medal recipient for her thesis on Malta’s membership in the European Union. Josephine earned her J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School where she was the president of the Business and Finance Society.
Josephine has been a part of the Cancer Research Institute Young Philanthropists since 2009 and is enthusiastic about furthering the research and awareness of cancer immunology.
