  Pancreatic cancer patients will be enrolled in a clinical trial of a new immunotherapy that harnesses the immune system’s ability to fight pancreatic cancer.
- Hyam Levitsky Bridges Academic-Industry Divide with New Position
  As head of cancer immunology experimental medicine at Roche and as professor at The Johns Hopkins University Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, Dr. Hyam I. Levitsky is in a unique position to facilitate academic-industry partnerships that will advance the development of cancer immunotherapies.

- Christine Sable: Ovarian Cancer Survivor
  Ovarian cancer survivor Christine Sable shares her powerful story of hope and perseverance in the face of "the cancer that whispers."
- Mary Elizabeth Williams: Hope, Survival, and Freedom from Cancer
  In 2010, Mary Elizabeth Williams, a young mother of two, was diagnosed with stage IV melanoma. After participating in a clinical trial directed by CRI Scientific Advisory Council associate director Dr. Jedd D. Wolchok, Mary Elizabeth today is in remission.

- Young Philanthropist Mark Koch Runs in NYC Half 2013 to Support CRI
  Participating in a marathon is a great way to support CRI in the fight against cancer. Mark Koch, a member of CRI’s Young Philanthropists Council is running throughout New York City on behalf of those who’ve lost their lives to the disease.
- Kate's Cure: Hope on a Silver Chain
  After watching her mother battle cancer for a second time, 11 year old Kate Bockholt decided to help stop cancer by creating her own line of handcrafted jewelry. Kate's Cure has already raised thousands of dollars for the Cancer Research Institute.

Dr. Haihui Lu Studies How Breast Cancer Cells Hijack the Immune System
As a postdoctoral fellow funded by CRI, Dr. Lu is forging new knowledge on how breast cancer tumors "hijack" macrophages to facilitate cancer metastasis and immune evasion.
Focus on Skin Cancer: CRI/Ludwig Cancer Vaccine Collaborative Investigator Dr. Jonathan Cebon
Clinical investigator Dr. Jonathan Cebon at the Joint Austin/Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research Medical Oncology Unit at Austin Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, is using vaccines to treat melanoma patients.
Tim Stobo: Melanoma Survivor
Australian Tim Stobo knew from the public service advisories that malignant melanoma was a growing problem in his country. When the disease struck him, he wanted to fight back, so he enrolled in a CRI/LICR Cancer Vaccine Collaborative clinical trial of a new vaccine to treat melanoma.
