February 13, 2014 | Erin Kim

Looking to participate in an endurance event? The Cancer Research Institute has just a few slots left for those who want to bike in the 2014 TD Bank Five Boro Bike Tour as a Team CRI Athlete. Join our cycling team as they pedal throughout the streets of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island free of traffic on Sunday, May 4, while raising critical funds to advance more cancer immunotherapies for all patients. In exchange to agreeing to our fundraising goal, you will be ensured a secured slot in the race, and will receive fundraising support, prizes, and other team-building incentives. So, start tuning up your bikes and register now!

If you can’t join us for this bike tour, you can still run, walk, swim, bike, climb, or crawl as a Team CRI Athlete by making any race a fundraising event for Cancer Research Institute. Putting your strength to the test through a physical challenge like a marathon or sporting event is one of the greatest gestures of love and hope to those battling cancer. Dedicate a local endurance event of your choice to a loved one or to simply join the fight against cancer.

Team CRI endurance event participants from around the globe have been raising significant funds to further the research in cancer immunology and immunotherapy. Put those sneakers on and get started today and become a part of something that truly gives all cancer patients a new chance to overcome their disease with powerful immune-based treatments.
