Keith Landesman Memorial Fund
Dr. Keith Landesman grew up in Westport, Connecticut and lived his life giving back to the Fairfield County community and his patients. A loving father, son, brother, husband, and friend, he will always be foremost in our minds and hearts. To celebrate Keith’s life and to help others survive their cancer, the Green and Landesman families established the Keith Landesman Memorial Golf Tournament, Silent Auction, and Dinner. All proceeds from the event will go to the Cancer Research Institute in support of groundbreaking cancer immunology research.
The event and the golf course at which it is held are most fitting. Keith was one of the first children to play golf at Birchwood and he was its four-time Club Champion. The "nine core life skills" taught by the First Tee–respect, courtesy, honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, confidence, judgment, perseverance, and responsibility–are the traits by which Keith lived his life, and are also the traits which helped his battle of this dreaded disease. He will always be our champion.
