Held September 30-October 2, 2009, at the Millennium Conference Center in New York City, the 17th Annual International Cancer Immunotherapy Symopsium attracted 335 immunologists and tumor immunologists from more than 150 academic institutions, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies around the world. “Control of Cancer Immunosuppression: A Challenge for Cancer Vaccine Development,” focused on immune suppression, one of the key challenges to therapeutic cancer vaccination.
