Cancer and HIV vaccine researchers from around the world gathered for a three-day conference at the Millennium Conference Center in New York City October 4-6, 2007, to share and discuss data from the latest clinical and laboratory studies aimed at developing preventive and therapeutic vaccines for both diseases. “Cancer and HIV Vaccines 2007: Shared Lessons,” the 15th Annual International Cancer Immunotherapy Symposium, attracted 250 laboratory and clinical immunologists as well as representatives from the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and health research funding organizations, and provided a unique forum for sharing data, wisdom, and strategies between researchers from the cancer and HIV vaccine fields.
