On Thursday, July 25, the Cancer Research Institute’s (CRI) Young Philanthropists Council, chaired by Alexis Feldman, hosted their sixth annual Midsummer Social, with the help of event co-chairs Christina Brown and Sean Kiely, and a committee made up of young professionals with diverse backgrounds.

More than 200 guests between the ages of 21 and 40 arrived at the trendy AvenueNYC in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, and raised more than $11,000 in support of CRI’s mission to advance research of safe, effective immunotherapies to treat all different types of cancers. VIP tables, a premium open bar, raffle prizes, and a great party vibe thanks to the nonstop music of special guest DJ Bedlam, had guests dancing into the night at this group’s flagship annual fundraising party.

Special thanks to our event sponsors: Rare Bar and Grill, Broken Shed Vodka, Conway Family Wines, Soul Cycle, Juice Generation, Pure Barre NYC, David Barton Gym, Pure Yoga, Pennsylvania 6, Mercer Hotel, Upstairs at the Kimberly, and Sirius XM Radio.
