John Fitzgibbons is the owner of J Fitzgibbons LLC, a private investment firm focused primarily on the global energy industry. J Fitzgibbons LLC includes Brookline Partners LLC, its direct investment subsidiary, and J Fitzgibbons Investments LLC, its indirect investment subsidiary.
He founded and is chairman of Integra Group Ltd., a diversified oil field services and drilling rig manufacturing company listed on the London Stock Exchange (INTE) with a market capitalization of approximately $3.5 billion. Integra employs over 20,000 people in Russia and provides drilling, wireline logging and seismic services to the oil and gas industry. It is also one of the largest global manufacturers of heavy drilling rigs.
He recently co-founded and serves on the executive and investment committees of Deerpath Capital LP, a New York based direct lending hedge fund.
Previously, he founded and served as president and chief executive officer of Khanty Mansiysk Oil Corporation (KMOC), a privately held oil exploration and production company which was sold in 2003 to Marathon Oil Company (US).
Prior to founding KMOC, he worked as a U.S.-sponsored economic advisor to the Russian deputy prime minister responsible for privatization.
Mr. Fitzgibbons is a trustee of Milton Academy, a member of the board of Millenium Promise, a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a member of the Harvard University Committee on Student Excellence and Opportunity.
Mr. Fitzgibbons joined CRI's Board of Trustees in 2002.
