G.S. Beckwith Gilbert

G.S. Beckwith (Beck) Gilbert established and has been president and CEO of Field Point Capital Management Company, a private equity firm specializing in the acquisition and active management of businesses since 1988. Mr. Gilbert was elected the chairman of PASSUR Aerospace, Inc., in 1997 and is also a director of Davidson Hubeny Brands. He is the former chairman and CEO of QO Chemicals and the former chairman of the Executive Committee of Dianon Systems, Inc.

A magna cum laude graduate of Princeton in 1963, Mr. Gilbert received his M.B.A. in 1967, attending night classes at New York University. He is an honorary member of the Weill Cornell Medical College Class of 2004. In the spring of 2006, Mr. Gilbert received a Master of Science degree in Immunology (with a focus on cancer) from the Rockefeller University.
His current community activities include: Chairman of the Board of Fellows of Harvard Medical School, member of the Board of Directors of the Yale Cancer Center, and a Trustee of the Williston Northampton School. He is a member of BENS (Business Executives for National Security), the Council on Foreign Relations, the New York Academy of Medicine, and was the Founding Chairman of the American Lyme Disease Foundation, as well as the Chairman of the Lyme Disease Advisory Board at New York Medical College.

Mr. Gilbert joined the CRI Board of Trustees in April 2010.
